So close...
Tough day today. Went to the squadron for the wives' monthly fundraiser and saw a bunch of the folks who are deployed with Chris. Turns out they were in port today for a few hours, but Chris was on duty and couldn't leave the boat. He was here. He was home... and I didn't get to see him. What a kick to the stomach...

Oh, I can't even imagine how frustrating that must have been for you. How awful!
On a brighter note, I wanted to let you know I tagged you over at my blog.
I always thought that the times where they were here (i.e. the field) were worse than the actual deployments. Hope you start to fell better soon!

Oh man. That would be rough. I'm sure he was feeling the same as you though and he was wishing he could have seen you.
