Yesterday I spent with my buddy Jolene hitting the after Christmas specials. I was searching for a tree, but the only good one I found was at Macy's - 60% off and still $245. I could fly to Japan, cut one down and bring it back for that price... luckily Julie let me borrow hers. A little counter intuitive to be decorating the tree the day AFTER Christmas, but that's just how this year is going to go. At least our neighbors probably thought I was taking down the lights, so I won't be committed... The tree is up, the lights are on, there are presents waiting to be unwrapped and now I just have to figure out to do with the remaining hours of the day. It's 11:30a. Got some serious time on my hands here!!
Last I heard from Chris they are on their way home... YEAH!!!!! Hoping they'll be here New Year's Eve, and no idea how long they're staying... could be a day, could be four months. Hopefully it's closer to four months :)
I'm way behind on pictures, so here are some from Truesdell family Christmas, my long journey home, and our Guamtastic decorations!

My home for 4 days
My wine buddies - Molly, Emmy, and Cynthia. They all have candy canes (courtesy of the terminal guys) in their mouths. I have the wine opener. Classy.
No trip would be complete without a gift shop t-shirt.
Of course I held a gymnastics class. These were my talented students.
My sweet bed (well, until I moved and the luggage cart rolled away causing me to shatter my tailbone. Okay, maybe it's just bruised, but still. Please note the awesome gymnasium lighting. It was my own Christmas song: 5 screaming babies, 4 calling birds that somehow got in the terminal, 3 security announcements every half hour, 2 flip flops to shower in, and a partridge in a pear tree.
More children. Playing. ALL the time.
Bob and Ginger and I once we landed in Guam. VICTORY!
